I've had the opportunity to have some of my photographs featured in the Glasgow Gallery of Photography over the last few years. It's always cool to see my own work featured alongside other incredible photographers from around the world, noting differences in style, technique, and general perspective. It's also fun to compare locations and subjects, investigating the natural differences that come with taking pictures in opposite ends of the world.
Recently, I had the chance to see one of my photos of the Rocky Mountains featured in the gallery's Monochrome Exhibition, a collage of black-and-white images from photographers with drastically different style.
The gallery has featured some of my previous photos in their Nature Exhibition and Black Edition as well. Submitting photos to these exhbitions has been a fun way for me to push myself creative and look at my pre-existing photos with different perspectives. And checking out the other photos that make it into each exhibit allows me to see the same theme from different angles, lenses, and perspectives.
I enjoy the process and definitely plan on sumbitting more photos to future exhibitions.
