Andes Mountains & Machu Picchu

During a five-day backpacking trek through the Andes Mountains to Machu Picchu, we passed through some of the world's most diverse landscapes and ecosystems. From arid highlands to the Continental Divide at 15,000 feet, to the entrance of the Amazon Rainforest, and then to the ancient city of Machu Picchu itself, the Andes Mountains provided an unforgettable tour of nature and history.
