I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, where I developed a love for rain and coffee. As a kid, I spent a lot of time exploring the city, as well as the outdoor environments that flourished so close to my urban neighborhood. Now I live in Colorado, where I teach secondary History and English, and regularly get to explore the Rocky Mountains with my snowboard or a camera. I've had my writing featured in publications like Best Magazine, Bel Esprit, Adventure Productions, and Magazine of Sigma Chi. I've had photographs appear in places like The Sun Magazine, Bank of Colorado, Sierra Magazine, and the Government of Peru. I thrive on meeting cool people and taking new adventures, and I love telling stories through writing, photography, and video.
